Bubba Watson’s Caddie Shows the Exact Path of His Winning Masters Shot

“Just a 40-yard hook with a 52 degree wedge.” Sounds simple enough. We’ve all got that shot, right? That’s how Bubba Watson nonchalantly describes that second shot he hit in a playoff on No. 10 at Augusta National last Sunday, the shot that ended up winning him his first Masters. Oh, and by the way, it was from 165 yards; the distance most mortals pull at least a 7 or 8 iron. His caddie, Ted Scott, tweeted the above picture showing the exact path Bubba’s ball took to leave him right below the hole, two putts away from his first green jacket.
We knew it was an insane shot based on the extreme roll of the wrists we witnessed on television, but since Augusta National doesn’t allow blimps at The Masters, we never got this bird’s eye view.

Amazing
I don’t have that shot as a hook. Sadly, I do have it as a slice.
Well done Bubba!
Silly great shot. Below is our little attempt explaining the ramifications.
